Prototype game logo (before I joined the project)

At first, I thought of making a logo by writing it by hand and then embellish it with shiny sections to make it look like wet paint.

The game lead suggested to try and make the logo in a painting frame, like a piece of art. I splattered it with primary-colored paint. However, I have had reservations against this design. I did like the hand-drawn text, which was drawn and then vectored.

I applied the vectored text from the last version of the logo to here. I did like how the purple background of the logo had a dripping paint effect.

The dripping paint effect was dropped and applied a couple "brush strokes" around the logo. I made an assortment of colors for the game lead to decide which will be more appealing.

It all came down to the red and yellow logos. I made the colors more vibrant and saturated in each logo. The brush strokes were dropped at this point.

With a couple more edits, the team and I finally confirmed the official logo for The Painter's Apprentice.
